Welcome to the South Sound Planned Giving Council (SSPGC) based in Tacoma, Washington. We are a chapter of the National Association of Charitable Gift Planners (CGP).

The principal purposes of the Council are:

  • To provide a forum for communication and a clearinghouse for information about planned giving issues.
  • To create and further the awareness of regulatory and legislative issues affecting the non-profit sector.
  • To advance the education and professional expertise of SSPGC members.
  • To encourage inter-disciplinary interaction of members and other allied professionals.
  • To help enhance planned giving as a profession and provide mutual support to the National Association of Charitable Gift Planners, of which we are a member council.

Membership in the SSPGC is open to all development and allied professionals working in the fields of planned giving and estate/financial planning.

Members of the Council adhere to a code of ethics outlined in the Model Standards of Practice for the Charitable Gift Planner, as adopted by the National Association of Charitable Gift Planners.
